Erasmus+ ECO-IDEA Project: The Final Mobility for Abba-Ballini Students in Sant Mateu

Between May 4th and 7th 2026, a delegation of students from ITC Abba-Ballini traveled to Sant Mateu (Spain) to participate in the final mobility of the Erasmus+ ECO-IDEA project. The experience saw our students working in synergy with their peers from the “Maestrat” Secondary Education Institute in Sant Mateu and the Vocational and Secondary Industrial School of Electrical Engineering in Pilsen (Czech Republic), thus crowning a journey full of international exchange and cooperation.

The core activities took place on May 5th and 6th. Divided into four international working groups, the students faced a real innovation challenge: after analyzing the operational context of four different local businesses, they devised concrete proposals to integrate Artificial Intelligence into their production processes. The developed projects were then presented and discussed directly with the managers of the involved companies.

At the end of the activities, the trip was enriched by a cultural moment with a visit to the charming town of Peñíscola, where the group could admire the famous castle, built by the Knights Templar and later used as a papal residence.

In summary, this final stage proved to be a very intense but extremely rewarding experience, ending the project on a high note and offering both students and teachers an important opportunity for educational and personal growth.
